This time I also read from the character design of the signboard
I had it hand carved.
一般的に表札に使用される槻、桧、桜。高級感を求める人はウォールナット材を、
そして癖のない自然な雰囲気を好む人はオーク材を選ぶ傾向があるそうで
この写真ははオークの木、uae 現地でのレーザーカットも可能でしたが
今回は看板文字デザインから書かせていただいているということもあり
手彫りにさせていただきました。

影が出来るように少し薄墨を字の周りに周りに染み込ませました。縁起の良い浮かし彫り

「粋」という字は10画字画判断され他こともありオーダーの際に11画にというお話をいただき
点画が加わり背景には菱形が配置されておられます。

ほかの木材に比べて耐水性が高く、腐食したり劣化したりといった心配がないことから、
酒樽として定番の木材の様子です。

あえて虎斑が浮き出るように木材をカットし、

混ざってないか個人的にも楽しみにしていました。

１種類違う木red mirantiも1種類ご用意していたのですがやはり定番？オーク材を起用しました。

こちらはまだ荒削りの状態です、イベント時にお持ちしたのですが
掘るには時間がかかりますので持ち帰りました。またお持ちしたい所存です。
３-４ヶ月ほど前の作品となります、時間さの投稿ではありますが
少し時間ができたのでブログの再開をしようと思います。（約半年分の内容が溜まっています。）
